Yesterday, I hiked up Mount Timpanogos. Talk about a long hike! Here is a couple facts for those of you who don't know:
Elevation: 11,749 feet
It is the second highest summit in Utah
It is about a 15 mile hike
We did it in about 9 and a half hours round trip
It hurts to move today, but the trip was definitely worth it. It is such a beautiful hike! Plus, it makes you feel pretty accomplished once you reach the summit. And the bottom. :)
I could continue typing, but it really doesn't do it justice.
Seeing as me and my dad are super big photographers, I'll just show you!

That little, tiny white building on the top of that? That would be the shack on the summit. |
|
Almost to the top! |
|
Such an amazing view! |
|
Family tradition to take a picture here :) |
|
This is my accomplished look. (We were almost there!) |

Signing my name in the book at the summit. Such an accomplished feeling right then. |

"Hey Halli! Go stand on that edge as far as you dare!" |

The view off of the back of the mountain. So gorgeous! |

Snow... In July. Oh yes. |
|
I was tying my shoe and I look up to see my Dad snapping pictures of me? |
|
Easily my favorite picture that we took. It was so beautiful! |
Obviously he had the camera a little more than I did...
It was such an awesome experience! Every time I look at the mountain I think, "Wow, I climbed that..." Then, I start getting a super big head. It happens to the best of us right?
Fashion wise, wear comfortable clothes and good shoes? :)
Not much to say about this one, but it was fun!
XOXO,
Halli
