Spring Break 2013!

Hello lovlies.

That time of the year has come and gone again...

Spring break.

That amazing week when you can be completely care free.

I spent my week in St. George!

50% tanning + 20% SHOPPING! + 15% eating food + 15% other activities = 100% Content Halli

Nicole really was included in these pictures, hers were just taken on her phone instead of mine!

We really did play racquetball, I swear! 

And dominated. Figured I'd throw that in there.

I also got my final measurements for my prom dress done! The anticipation of seeing it finished is killing me!!

As precious as it is that you thought I was actually going to show you, only like 4 people on this planet have any idea of what it looks like.

I promise. The wait will be worth it. :)

Now I will admit that I had measurements taken for my prom dress before I even got asked... 

But I came home to a very pleasant surprise!

Being apart from him for a week was a whole lot harder than I thought it would be!

So the dress was not purchased in vain (hallelujah!)

The rest of the break was spent cleaning my room and weeding out my three (yes, three) closets, as well as catching up on The Carrie Diaries and Fashion Star! My two fav TV shows at the moment (since there aren't any new PLL episodes... boo). 

So in conclusion I did not do very many things that were actually productive this past week, but I got pretty tan and shopped a whole lot so who really cares! I consider that a pretty successful spring break!

• And the obvious: Food (such as chocolate cake, frosted sugar cookies, or chocolate covered strawberries)

Now, what guy isn't into that kind of stuff!?

I'm gonna guess EVERY GUY.

But, that is the trick to dealing with people.

They're different compared to you.

It's all about whether you care about them enough to care about yourself less to make them happy.


Come on people, it isn't rocket science.

GUYS. It has been like SIX MONTHS since I last posted on my blog. Because I know you are all chomping at the bit for an update on my oh-so-fabulous life, I will indulge you all. You're welcome.

Not much happened during the rest of September.

I got my braces off!

October came along and I went on one of the best dates I have ever been on.

Twas Friday, October 12th. And his name was Manuel. We went to Nightmare on 13th. And I was scared out of my mind (but of course I didn't tell him that). I kept telling myself that I wasn't going to hang on him like a total sissy. Then when we were buying our tickets there was one MEASLY little zombie and it scared the living crap out of me. HAHAHA yeah. I don't think I let go of him the whole night. And I haven't let go of him yet. : )

We hung out the next week. It was Friday, October 19th. We played video games, made cookies, did some randoms acts of service, I learned how to drive a stick shift, played pool, and hiked the Y!

We met in Photo, just FYI : )

The next Friday was my schools Halloween dance.

I went with Court, who was a zebra, and Kait, who we turned into rocker barbie. I was a black cat. MeOW. 

It also happened to be my birthday at Midnight that night (what whaaaat).

Manuel and went to Ihop so I could eat my weight in pancakes to celebrate! I decided he could stick around.

I threw a party the next day!

Manuel helped my clean up... Kind of. : )

We watched the Grudge. Nothing like getting this text at 2 AM.

But it's okay because he gave me a build-a-bear in a cheer uniform for my birthday... : )

On Halloween I watched Manuel make children cry.

This next picture is a major marker in my past six months. Not only was it my sister's birthday (Manuel took us to Sonic and we got her a birthday slushy with tater tots), November 2nd, 2012 was the day Manuel and I became 'official.' Yes, he asked me to be his girlfriend. : )

I got asked to Orem's Winter Jam!

The theme was 'famous couples' and we went as Lois Lane and Superman! But alas, I cannot find our pictures. : (

I also went to Sadie's!

I attended my first Nordstrom B.P. Fashion Board meeting with one of my best friends Tristan!

December: 

I asked Manuel to Preference!

I painted by bedroom!

Manuel answered me to Preference using my three favorite things: Starbucks, cupcakes and PURPLE flowers!!

Earlier that week my friend Chase from Lone Peak decided last minute that he wanted to go to their ugly sweater dance so we went! And it was a BLAST! I had some time to kill before he came to get me though...

The next day Manuel picked me up in the morning and we made a gingerbread house!! : )

Who needs math when you can build a snowman during first period!?

Manuel and I went on a group date to Temple Square!

Christmas came. :)

The best wrapped present I received (wrapped by my sister!)

We got bored and took awkward couple photos...

Trust me, theres like 56 more where those came from... 

This was my favorite Christmas present I received by far...

It is a charm bracelet with charms representing things Manuel and I had done together. Yes, my heart DID melt into a puddle, and yes I wear it pretty much every day.

My family had a sledding adventure!

 


January:


NEW YEAR'S!

My bffs third/fourth wheeled with Manuel and I at Buffalo Wild Wings.. True friendship.

Later that night Manuel and I lit off a chinese lantern and yes it was AWESOME!

My photo family reunited at The Chocolate for celebratory cazookies! We were separated due to class change...

Then, ladies and gents, on January 12th, 2013 PREFERENCE happened! 

We also had ReTrO nIgHt at my school! 

I'm sure you all remember by best friend. : )

We had school off so Manuel and Honey Badger made me lunch!

February:

I started teach two elementary school cheer classes!

Just a sample. We really are productive I promise...

Manuel and I went to the Ed Sheeran concert!

These are the Rizzle Kicks and their music is awesome! 

And there is the ginger man himself!!!

I got a melt. : )

Valentine's Day was perfect. <3

HE GOT ME MY FAVORITE FLOWERS! Color and all. <3

I also got a concert ticket charm (Ed), a GIANT puppy, and a card that currently sits on my night stand so I can always read it. <3

Since then soccer season has started so Manuel is a bit busier, but it's okay because I love watching him play. :)

Note to self: Don't be a slacker on your blog or you'll end up staying awake later than planned and writing a really long blog post. 

Don't worry, I missed all of you too.
